| Club Profile |
KAPS stands for Keeping Adolescents Protected and Safe. The football club was founded in 2007, as a branch from KAPS Youth Provision. The team is a Birmingham based organisation designed to break down social casting and racial barriers, using the familiar common grounds of Sport, in particular Football. With this in mind it is fair to say that KAPS FC is one of the most culturally diverse teams within the Shapla Football League, with a wide age range to encompass and cater for a vast community and encourage cohesion. The club directors are Kevin Brookes, Phil Hamilton and Saqib Bin Taj, who all have 50 years of youth work between them and who have all played football to high standards at some stage in their careers. So with all of this experience behind the squad driving it forward, the team intends to take the league by storm. Phil Hamilton and his coaching skills are renowned throughout the UK, and with his second in command Saqib Bin Taj who himself has been trained by Phil; the team stands itself in good stead for future successes. On match day the team has 11 captains working to the same ethics of our mission statement; Put everything in, Get everything out!
