Catalan FC was formed through a youth club based at Farm Road in 2006, and are mainly from a Pakistani and Bengali origin.

We started playing friendly games within the youth service and as we were enjoying the games and also keeping up with regular sporting activity we thought that we were ready for a challenge and that’s where the Shapla Football League came into the short inexperience life span of our team.

We would like to thank the Big Boost Fund for their support in helping us financially.

We would also like to thank our youth worker, Mrs Usmat Batool who has dedicated a lot of time helping the team grow from a park team into a team which can compete in competitive league games and for her time that she gives us each weekend.

Her support and belief in us has helped build our confidence and has helped us take steps towards our challenges.
