Cross Goals United has been built up by a group of youths from an Afro-Caribbean background. 

Most of the team players have played football in different leagues, over the last few years.

After training together for the past few years, we decided during the off-season that it would be good to come together and start our own team.

We are all skilled players and knew that if we put our minds to it we could be a great team with a great future.

We have now come together as Cross Goals United. On the whole and as individuals we all love to play competitive and honest football, and are very passionate about the game.

We know that the Shapla Football League is the league where we can enjoy playing the type of games we love. 

Most of the team players have not played in the SFL before, but we have heard so much about the great reputation that it has for being honest and equal. It doesn’t matter what race you are, we know that we will be treated with equal love and respect. This will be our first season together as a new team.

Our main aim is to enjoy the SFL and make ourselves feel at home.

Our motto is “let’s play the beautiful game, and keep it beautiful”.
